I’m on the Host Committee for Latinos Progresando’s Tomorrow’s Heroes Today event at John Barleycorn – River North, 149 W. Kinzie Street, Chicago. Latinos Progresando serves immigrants with the highest quality, low cost legal immigration services, community education & engagement, & advocacy/organizing around policies that affects immigrants.

Every June, Latinos Progresando honors local legends & rising stars at its annual Tomorrow’s Heroes Today event.  It brings together 300 diverse professionals & recognizes one individual leader and one business through the Progresando Awards & highlights the accomplishments of that year’s Dr. Angela Perez Miller Scholarship recipients.  Tickets are $100 & are available here

Also, after serving 5 years on the Chicago Bar Foundation’s Young Professionals Board, I’m now cycling off of the Board.  My last event as a board member is our annual Spring Into Summer event with the Chicago Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Section.  The Chicago Bar Foundation is the charitable arm of the Chicago Bar Association. Spring into Summer brings people together to have fun, connect with other young professionals in the community, and learn more about the CBF’s work, all while raising money that advances the CBF’s access to justice efforts.
